 Abstract:  Albina Cermak (1904-1978) was active in Republican Party politics in Cleveland, Ohio. She was vice-chairman and secretary of the Cuyahoga County Republican Central and Executive Committees, chairman of the Republican Women's Organization of Cuyahoga County, member of the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections, a Cleveland, Ohio, precinct committeewoman, and a member of the Ohio Federation of Republican Women's Clubs. She was a United States Customs Collector before running unsuccessfully for Mayor of Cleveland, Ohio state senator and Clerk of the Cleveland Municipal Court. The collection consists of individual and group portraits of Albina Cermak in her various posts, including United States Collector of Customs, with officials and employees. There are also Cermak family portraits, and individual portraits of noted politicians, including Dwight D. Eisenhower, Richard M. Nixon, and Frances Payne Bolton, inscribed to Albina Cermak.

 Abstract:  Fannie M. Lewis (1926-2008) was an African American activist and Cleveland, Ohio, councilwoman. She was involved in a number of Hough neighborhood improvement programs, including Community Action for Youth, Neighborhood Youth Corps, Model Cities Association, and the Citizen's Participation Organization. She became a city councilwoman from Cleveland's Ward 7 in 1982. The collection consists of photographs depicting Lewis' involvement in the Hough community of Cleveland, Ohio, and Cleveland politics. It includes images of Fannie Lewis, Carl and Louis Stokes, Ralph Perk, and Booker Tall.

 Abstract:  The City Club of Cleveland is a Cleveland, Ohio, men's club formed in 1912 to provide a platform for the discussion of issues of contemporary interest. Women were admitted in 1972. A number of noted individuals have addressed the Club's forum. The collection consists of views of the City Club, including its building, meetings, dinners, and programs. The program views include photographs of the Club's "Anvil Review," a satirical production written, directed and performed by club members. Photographs were taken by Cleveland Press photographers.

The collection consists of individual portraits of speakers and their activities; views of the annual Anvil Revues, interior views of the City Club, and 2 photograph albums.
